How IPTV Reseller Accounts Work

The term "account" in an IPTV reseller context refers to two distinct things: the reseller account (your panel login) and customer accounts (subscriptions you create for end users). Understanding how these two account types work — separately and together — is essential for managing your reseller panel operation effectively.

The Reseller Account

Your reseller account is the parent structure. It holds your credit balance, gives you access to the management panel and contains all customer accounts as child records beneath it. You log into the reseller account to perform every administrative action: creating customers, activating subscriptions, managing renewals and monitoring expiry dates.

The reseller account itself does not expire. What expires are the customer subscriptions within it. Your credit balance also does not expire; it persists until you spend it.

Customer Account Lifecycle

1. Creation — You create the account with a username, password and subscription duration. Credits deducted immediately.
2. Active — The customer has working access. Subscription counts down from creation date.
3. Near-expiry — Subscription approaches its end date. Renew before expiry to maintain continuous service.
4. Expired — Customer loses access. Account still exists in the panel and can be reactivated.
5. Renewal — New subscription activated on existing account. Same credentials, new duration, credits deducted.

Trial Accounts

A trial account is a customer account created with a 6-hour duration at 0 credits. It works identically to a paid account — the customer gets the same channels and content quality. Trial accounts cannot be extended mid-trial. When the 6 hours expire, reactivate with a paid subscription duration if the customer wants to continue.

Account Credentials

Each customer account has a unique username and password. Credentials can be changed through the panel at any time without affecting the subscription or consuming credits. Keep customer credentials in your own records outside the panel.

Premium: Sub-Reseller Accounts

Premium reseller accounts include sub-reseller accounts as an additional account type. These are reseller accounts you create beneath your own — each with their own panel, credit balance (allocated from yours) and independent customer management. Data You Are Responsible For

The reseller panel stores subscription data — usernames, expiry dates and credit usage. It does not store customer personal data, payment records, email addresses or contact details. You are responsible for maintaining those records in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
