This is a volume decision, not a quality decision — the content and features are identical across all package sizes within the same plan tier. The difference is cost per credit, which determines your per-subscription cost and therefore your margin.

Matching Package Size to Your Customer Volume

• Step 1: Count your expected active customers
• Step 2: Multiply by subscription duration credits (e.g. 1-month = 1 credit each)
• Step 3: Multiply by the number of months you want to cover
• Step 4: Add a 20% buffer, then match to the nearest package

Example: 15 customers, 1-month subscriptions, 6 months = 15 × 1 × 6 = 90 credits. Add 20% = 108. Nearest Standard package = 100 credits (renew once) or 200 credits (buy ahead).

The Cost-Per-Credit Decision

Standard 50 credits at £2.80/credit gives a 1-month subscription cost of £2.80 per customer. Standard 1,000 credits at £1.65/credit gives £1.65. If you charge customers £8/month, your margin is £5.20 at the 50-credit rate or £6.35 at the 1,000-credit rate. At 50 customers, that is £57.50/month in additional margin. When to Start Small

If you are new — fewer than 10 active customers — start with a 50-credit Standard package. This covers 50 one-month subscriptions while you learn the panel workflow. Scale your purchase once volume justifies the larger package investment.

Subscription Duration Mix

Your customers may want different durations. 6-month subscriptions use 6 credits each but simplify renewal management. 1-month subscriptions are more credit-efficient if customers churn frequently.
